When you're on the home stretch in your studies and turning your gaze towards the challenges of working life, we can offer you the chance to get practical experience of the legal profession before deciding what you want to do after graduation.
As a senior trainee, your work would be equivalent to that of a freshly graduated lawyer in our firm. Senior trainees extensively assist our lawyers in their assignments. Your duties would include legal research, writing articles, translating documents, and contacting authorities. You are well suited to work as a senior trainee if you are solution-oriented and interested in client service, have good language and social skills and are flexible and ambitious with a genuine interest in business law.
This traineeship is full time and lasts for four months. Trainee periods start every January, May and September. Some trainees may continue with us even longer by working as a project trainee or a thesis trainee.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN APPLYING
If you think that Castrén & Snellman could be right for you, fill out our trainee application form and tell us about yourself. We read every application.
After receiving the application, we will send a video question via e-mail to all applicants. We hope to receive replies to the question as soon as possible.
We will invite some of the people who participated in the video interviews to a recruitment day at our offices. The recruitment day includes more information about working with us, a group assignment and a face-to-face interview with the person responsible for the trainee programme and members of our HR team.
We will let all applicants know either over the phone or via e-mail when the new trainees have been selected.
