We advised FIM, the leading actor in the Nordic SIB investing field, in the formation of a SIB fund focusing on employing long-term unemployed persons. The fund is a limited partnership and an alternative investment fund, which is being offered to professional investors only.
The purpose of the fund is to implement an impact investment project commissioned by Finnish Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland. The investment activity of the fund consists of financing interventions aimed at decreasing unemployment on long-term unemployed individuals. The profits to be received by the investors in the fund are determined through pre-agreed employment indicators measuring the benefits produced by the project for society.
