We advised Finnish Industry Investment (Tesi) in their investment in a mobile phone company Swappie Oy. The Series B financing round was €35.8 million.
Swappie, founded in 2015, is one of the fastest growing companies in the Nordics. Now a quickly expanding team of over 150 people is working on the Swappie Mission. Swappie wants to provide customers with a more affordable and environmentally friendly way to upgrade their phones.
Finnish Industry Investment is a Finnish state-owned investment company that has a mission to develop Finland’s venture capital and private equity market in a commercially profitable manner as well as to promote Finnish business and Finland’s economic growth. It had investments under management of €1.3 billion at the end of 2019.
