We advised the shareholders of Donier Gastronomie Oy in a transaction where Folmer Equity Fund II Ky, a fund managed by Folmer Management Oy, invested in the company. As of the completion of the transaction, Donier Gastronomie Oy became a portfolio company of Folmer Equity Fund II Ky. The owners of Donier Gastronomie Oy continue as minority shareholders of the company and the company’s founder, Alexandre Donier, continues as the managing director.
Founded in 2003 by Alexandre Donier, Donier Gastronomie Oy is a Finnish wholesaler of high-quality food products specialising in the import and wholesale of dairy, meat, seafood and poultry products. The company reports a revenue of approximately EUR 8 million and employs a total of 16 employees in premises located in Helsinki, Tampere and Turku.
