About me
I specialise in competition law, state aid, public procurement, M&A and commercial contracts.
Since joining Castrén & Snellman in 2009, I have had the privilege to work on many landmark domestic and international antitrust and merger control matters across a wide range of industries. In the field of competition and procurement law, my experience includes, among others, merger control filings, multijurisdictional coordination, strategic compliance work, cartel and dominance investigations and court proceedings, complex commercial arrangements (such as supply, distribution, R&D, licensing, joint ventures and co-operation arrangements as well as other strategic alliances), public procurement disputes and state aid assessments.
I have also drafted and negotiated a large number of contracts relating to, inter alia, distribution, agency, supply and various co-operation arrangements.
I am very dedicated and passionate to ensuring the best possible outcomes to our clients in matters of every size and scope. In my work, I combine true competition law dedication and high-quality expertise with practical and commercially-focused advice. Having worked also as an in-house lawyer, I always seek to look beyond easy static legal answers and bring true added-value by identifying optimal solutions and capitalising on our client's business goals without taking unnecessary legal risks.
Chambers Europe and The Legal 500 rank me among Finland's leading competition law experts. In addition, Who's Who Legal has listed me as a Future Leader in Competition matters.
