Jutta Vainikainen

I started work as a trainee assistant at Castrén & Snellman in the spring of 2019, and I currently work as an assistant in our Dispute Resolution and Corporate Governance services. I am a BBA graduate from Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences.

As an assistant, I make sure that our lawyers can concentrate on their core competencies by giving them my best support. I like it that my colleagues appreciate my contribution and believe in my abilities. I am easily approachable and love to face challenges that push me out of my comfort zone to learn new things. It is important for me as an assistant to keep my head cool even when in a hurry. My work is varied and diverse, and I like the pressure of strict deadlines.

I have previously worked in the catering business where I got used to hectic situations and learned to solve them efficiently and carefully. In addition, I have learned to anticipate and prioritise work. Now I can use these skills in my present work.

I enjoy my work thanks to my enthusiastic and positive colleagues. It is rewarding to work with accomplished colleagues and feel the real team spirit in everything we do.
