Lauri Laatunen

Associate, Master of Laws

I advise our clients in versatile assignments concerning technology, media and telecommunications, digitalisation as well as complex outsourcing projects and agreements. My areas of expertise and fields of interest also closely include different kinds of matters concerning data protection and intellectual property.

I enjoy working with diverse and challenging legal matters, in which technological development, the ever-changing legal landscape and harnessing them both to the benefit of the client’s business seamlessly combine. The most rewarding part of my work is when I can comprehensively utilise different aspects of my legal expertise to create added value for the client.

Before joining Castrén & Snellman’s Data & Technology practice, I gained experience of technology and intellectual property related legal matters while working as a trainee at a major Nordic law firm, at a Big Four accounting firm as well as a law firm that specialises purely in complex outsourcing agreements and data protection.

In addition to my Master of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki, I have studied law in Belgium at KU Leuven, which has been ranked among the world’s best law schools.
