Lisa Litvin

I assist our domestic and international clients in various matters relating to data protection, technology, sanctions and export control. I regularly advise our clients in privacy compliance projects, drafting data protection documentation, contractual matters relating to personal data and issues relating to cross-border data transfer arrangements and employment-related privacy. In addition, I have extensive experience in sanctions compliance and export control issues.

I graduated from the University of Helsinki in 2021. I have also completed the bar examination of the Finnish Bar Association and received CIPP/E certification under the certification program of the International Association of Data Protection Professionals, which requires a wide range of expertise in European data protection laws. Prior to my graduation, I worked at Castrén & Snellman in various trainee positions for three years. I also gathered experience, for example, in the legal information department of a major publishing firm.

I take a practical and solution-oriented approach to work. When working on an assignment, I take into account the special characteristics of the client’s business and approach the issues at hand from a business-oriented perspective. I enjoy helping our clients with diverse and challenging legal matters to find the best solutions for their needs.
